Responsible for training new additions to the dispatch team when applicable. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed in a timely fashion. Assign seals to outbound trucks. Ensure driver's documentation procedures are accurately followed. Proper tracking of arrival and departure times must be completed and accurate. Bills must be printed for completed loads. Pick tickets must be printed as required. Logistic log sheet updated accurately as needed. Ensure phone calls and message distribution are done in a timely fashion. Handle in a timely fashion all calls for inbound appointments. Ensure Receiving paperwork is accurately compiled. Proper change over procedures followed at beginning and end of shift. Responsible for following all policies and procedures established to implement, maintain and ongoing improvement of the SQF program. Ensure all GM, PPE and safety procedures per Taylor Farms requirements are being followed. Additional duties may be assigned by the Transportation Supervisor. Experience and Ability Requirements: Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office - (Word, Excel and Outlook). Individual should be a self-starter with the ability to analyze and improve existing processes. Previous experience in a warehouse environment. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clerical position.
