WHO and WHERE?SCSC is a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Echelon III U.S. Navy Field Activity with 92 military, 84 government civil service, and 267 contractors executing high-fidelity shipboard representative integrated warfare capabilities in a maritime environment, consisting of the AEGIS Engineering & Training Complex, the Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) facility, the Wallops Island Engineering Test Center, and the Wallops Island Radar Test Site as tenants on the NASA Wallops Flight Facility.
Future SCSC capabilities include High Energy Laser with Integrated Optical-Dazzler and Surveillance Weapon System (HELIOS), next-generation radars, the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP), and a cooperative with NASA developing Unmanned Arial Vehicles and supporting Large Space Vehicle launches as SCSC continues to evolve toward becoming the preferred asset for technology and systems integration, test and verification of combat systems across the five battlespace domains of space, surface, air, undersea, and cyberspace / electronic warfare. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

As a Test Engineering Intern based at Rocket Lab's site in Wallops, Virginia, you will have the opportunity to support the Test and Launch Operations team. The Test and Launch Operations team lead all major projects relating to the Integrated Systems Testing, Operations and Launch.
