This role builds and maintains relationships with schools, community partners, and local organizations within the service area, and represents the college at recruitment events, campus tours, and community engagements. Responsibilities involve approximately 70% travel and 30% office work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit dual credit, traditional, and adult learners by maintaining an assigned territory and building relationships with high schools and community partners Represent the college at school visits, community events, regional/county fairs, and other recruitment activities Communicate with prospective and current students through phone, email, in person, website inquiries, and social media platforms Deliver presentations in small and large group settings to promote programs and explain the enrollment process Schedule and coordinate campus tours, open houses, signing days, and career-related events Use available technology to maintain event calendars, track prospects, document outcomes, and support data-driven recruitment efforts Ensure website and social media content is accurate and engaging, submitting updates as needed Collaborate with Admissions, Academics, the Business Office, and extended campuses to provide accurate information and support students through the enrollment process Participate in professional development opportunities, required meetings, and serve on committees such as graduation Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence and enthusiasm in public speaking Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and work effectively with diverse populations, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with sound judgment and problem-solving skills Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and common software applications Experience managing social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X) and using data analytics tools a plus 3+ years of experience in post-secondary education and/or recruiting in an academic environment preferred Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and set up display tables, marketing materials, and recruitment equipment Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service area, including occasional evening and weekend events APPLICATION DEADLINE: Review of applications will begin immediately, and applications will be accepted until position is filled. The coordinator strengthens partnerships with business and industry, supports student success, and ensures programs align with institutional goals and local workforce needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement, and manage workforce development, special industry training, and apprenticeship programs that align with employer needs and institutional goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with business and industry partners, faculty, staff, students, governmental agencies, and community organizations. Deliver customized training programs and provide ongoing support to participating businesses and employees. Oversee apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship, and cooperative education initiatives; implement and maintain related tracking tools. Recruit, hire, and oversee special industry and apprenticeship instructors. Conduct research, prepare written reports, and assist with grant development, documentation, and compliance. Coordinate campus event scheduling, facility usage, and departmental communications. Develop project plans, timelines, KPIs, and deliverables; track progress and ensure project completion. Support student recruitment efforts; assist currently enrolled students with advising, enrollment, and registration needs. Maintain required records, submit timely reports, and support accreditation and institutional initiatives. Serve as primary point of contact for assigned projects and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on project requirements. Participate in staff meetings, executive meetings, professional development, graduation ceremonies, and other institutional activities. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of experience in workforce development or a related field. Experience working with business and industry partners preferred. Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business software. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to express information clearly and professionally. Knowledge of adult learning principles a plus. Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders. High attention to detail and accuracy, including compliance and grant reporting. Experience in higher education preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the service area. Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. and move throughout the facility to perform occupational duties (with or without accommodation).
