Transvaginal cervical length * Accurate operation of ultrasound equipment to provide ultrasound guidance to physicians as they perform prenatal diagnostic procedures (amniocentesis/amnio infusion/amnio dye test) and gynecologic ultrasound guided procedures ( e.g. saline infusion sonography * Demonstrates ability to perform pelvic ultrasound examinations and assess pelvic structures and masses determinate endometrial thickness and morphology, perform color flow analysis of uterine and ovarian lesions, assess early normal and abnormal pregnancy, etc. * Performs analysis of sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, prepares preliminary report and communicates findings to the appropriate physician. * Assists in care of ultrasound equipment by following daily departmental procedures. * Recognizes and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to the Director of Ultrasound Division/Manager and/or supervisor. * Independently perform all obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds (i.e has more than 3 years of MFM experience). * Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. * Remains current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position. * Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. * Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP's values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). * Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution. * Perform all other duties as assigned.
