Summary
The candidate will be in a customer-facing role and provide specialist consulting advice to industrial clients primarily in the area of Fuels and Chemicals including renewable and low carbon fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Renewable Deisel (RD), Biodiesel, hydrogen and methanol and associated low carbon technologies such as carbon capture and e-fuels. The candidate is expected to develop close client relationship that leads to the successful execution of consulting studies as well as the development of new consulting business. The candidate will have and develop in-depth know-how of preliminary process design, material balances, utility balances, cost-estimating, financial analysis, technology and operations in order to work with a diverse set of clients to offer bespoke solutions. Operating experience at a plant in one of the above sectors is highly desired as is technology solutions through the implementation, design or troubleshooting licensed and open-art technology.

Experience And Qualifications
The candidates must demonstrate competency and experience in the following:

* Understands the development of PFDs, P&IDs, Project Schedules, and Plot Plans.

* Process modelling experience using Aspen/HYSYS. PetroSim, UniSim, HTRI, PROII, or PetroPlan.
* Demonstrated ability to "think like an owner" and make pragmatic, economic driven recommendations.
* Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements
* Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent
* Relevant process engineering experience
* This position offers hybrid work with minimum days in-office

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
BSc in chemical engineering from an accredited university and 8 years of relevant experience.
The candidate must thoroughly understand chemical engineering principles, including heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, transport phenomena, fluid flow, and hydraulics.
The candidate must have excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills and be able to develop and execute a plan to identify and solve technical problems.
The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences.
The candidate must be able to produce quality work within the constraints of the project.
