A typical day as a Staffing Recruiter: Find and hire enough workers so the office can fill every job opening on time and in compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations Manage incoming orders from clients and enter detailed s into the database Write and publish enthusiastic, concise job descriptions to Elwood's website and public job boards Use social networks and industry connections to build a strong pipeline of candidates Interview and offer jobs/communicate rejections to candidates in a legal, timely manner Administer drug screens, background checks, and other pre-employment tests Counsel, discipline, and terminate temporary associates, when appropriate, and document according to standard operating procedures Consistently make quality control calls to clients and associates to maintain an open channel for customer feedback and to address concerns Create, review, and continually improve a strategic recruiting plan for the market Desired Skills & Experience for a Staffing Recruiter: Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English.
