The Business Unit Leader is responsible for leading the execution and business performance of the operations. This role ensures the business has the staff and resources necessary to thrive while overseeing efficient production of safe, high-quality whole foods. The position also emphasizes workforce safety and security, environmental stewardship, and sustainability, all in compliance with customer expectations and federal and state regulations. Essential Job Functions
Oversee and manage live production operations including all bird health & welfare programs, feeding programs, environmental programs, etc. to include transfer of birds from pullet rearing houses to production facilities.
Provides leadership, direction, development, and training to the Operations Teams aimed at motivating employees to work as a team to meet corporate and site goals and objectives.
Responsible for all personnel management activities, from recruitment and promotion to coaching, discipline, and termination, while fostering a compliant and supportive work environment.
Continually execute Business Imperatives
Optimize production, throughput, and yield in all operations.
Lead with a strategic business mindset in an agricultural and food production environment.
Drive business performance through key performance indicators, including hen rate of lay, feed conversion, product yield, labor, and material efficiency.

Stewardship
Responsible for employee training, documentation, coaching and counseling.
Promotes a culture of safety.
Ensures the fair and ethical treatment of birds by ensuring employees are trained and monitored while working with all birds to meet the highest expectations of animal welfare.
Maintain compliance with all FDA, ODA, EPA, USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices and SQF Program as well as the SE Prevention, Animal Welfare, and Bio-Security Programs
Accountable for the financial stewardship of the operation through the development of a yearly budget and implementing effective systems of control over the operating expenditures of the plant.
Continuous Improvement
Preventative Maintenance Programs
Overseeing the troubleshooting, diagnosing, installation, restoration, and maintenance of equipment
Ensuring the identification and correction of root cause of repetitive failures
Overseeing ordering and managing parts inventory
Ensuring equipment is in safe and good working conditions.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations within poultry, agriculture, or food processing industries.
5+ years as a lead, supervisor, or manager.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to interpret financial and operational data and organize it into actionable insights.
Adaptability to a fast-paced, continually changing, and demanding environment.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Ability to work in various climate conditions, including extreme heat and cold, with prolonged standing, walking, and sitting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Finance, Agriculture, or a related field.
Experience in agricultural or food production environments.

The air in the packaging department is occasionally dusty, caused by flour and other ingredients, especially during periods of deep cleaning. Mobility is key in this position with duties calling for the ability to climb stairs, navigate catwalks, stoop, crawl, and move quickly around a production line.

As a Clinic Registered Nurse at MercyOne, you will accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care with the multidisciplinary team while using the nursing process and maintaining professional nursing standards.
The Clinic Registered Nurse is responsible for managing nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance, and restoration of patient's health and wellness within their scope of practice. The Clinic Registered Nurse will direct and support nursing/clinical personnel providing patient care within the facility as assigned by the Clinic Manager. This includes the evaluation, revision, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care, maintenance of clinical staff personnel and education records, in-services and performs Clinical Staff functions.

Education:
* Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
* A current Iowa License as a Registered Nurse is required.
* Six months of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
* Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
* Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.

Summary: The Information Technology Infrastructure support Intern works closely with Information Technology Leadership and other IT employees on various Information Technology tasks and projects. The responsibilities of the Information Technology Intern vary based on assignments and department needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide end user support - both face-to-face and remote.
• Assist with troubleshooting both hardware & software issues.
• Utilize help desk to respond to support requests and document resolution of issues.
• Provide user training for hardware and software.
• Assist with installation of PC hardware and software.
• Assist with testing of software and other project related duties as assigned.
• Assist with network and hardware troubleshooting.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance and upgrades on servers.
• Research and perform work on special projects as assigned.
• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
• Organize and maintain IT resources.
