Position Overview

Position Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service to clients and bank partners. Accept and process all client request and work with other team members and partners to ensure the resolution of all client needs. Provide general management of client relationships to coordinate service and product delivery from all other divisions of the bank.
Develop, expand and manage consumer and business account relationships, concentrating efforts in meeting client needs for financial products, while proactively looking to identify additional potential opportunities to expand relationships.
Oversee client onboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation for opening and closing accounts complies with state and federal guidelines. Coordinate the delivery of information and communication with clients, prospects, referral sources, and internal partners.

Essential Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, College Degree in Financial Services or a related field preferred.

Ability to effectively interact with all clients and internal partners across the bank.

The Junior Trader will have constant interaction with the Head Trader, Co-CIOs, Portfolio Managers, and other personnel within Franklin Templeton. This position will require the candidate to stay abreast of market structure, industry and regulatory trends, as well as company specific initiatives. How you will add value
Work with Franklin Managed Options' team to facilitate and execute operational components of a growth-oriented equity derivatives asset management business.
Support the Head Trader and portfolio managers in implementation and settlement of listed option transactions.
Collaborate effectively with other team members including Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Compliance Officers, Technology, and Trade Support.
Perform daily reconciliation, quarterly and on-demand performance reporting, and simulation proposal analysis.
Execute equity and index option transactions through our proprietary order management system, as well as maintain daily and intra-day order management systems.
Implement established protocols and policy guidelines necessary to maintain standardized record keeping practices.
Maintain books and records in compliance with evolving legal, SRO, and governmental regulation. Emphasis on the maintenance of books and records in compliance with evolving legal, SRO, and governmental regulation.
Work with technology team to identify opportunities for improvements to proprietary technology system.
Support service desk with periodic and as-needed analysis that arise.
What will help you be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree; finance /economics/accounting preferred.
2-4 years of experience in trading, settlement, reconciliation and/or trade break resolution.
Experience with custodians, brokers and clearing firms.
Familiarity with a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures in financial services.
Experience in equity/index options is a plus.
Knowledge of wealth management operations practices a plus
Proficiency in using Bloomberg and various order management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
