Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on company vehicles and equipment. Utilizes the vehicle computer electronics system to interpret failure modes and initiate and/or assign repairs. Perform all work within Standard Repair Times and report any deviations to Supervisor. Completes day to day tasks under limited supervision

LANDSCAPE FLEET & EQUIPMENT MECHANIC With the guidance from the Fleet manager, mechanics service and repair all company vehicles, mowing equipment and construction equipment while operating within the budget guidelines and according to EMI standard operating procedures. Job duties may include fluid and filter change, brakes, tune ups, suspension work, welding, and vehicle electrical work. The mechanic should possess the ability to diagnose problems, document work and have reasonable verbal communication skills. Must possess a valid driver license and the working knowledge of basic hand tools. Responsible for vehicle operation, equipment operation and adherence to EMI established safety procedures. Must be available to work extended hours, weekends and during inclement weather. As well as performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
