Qualifications: + Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 3 years of civil construction and estimating experience. + Knowledgeable in some of the following: civil/site construction, foundation, grading and paving, underground utilities/underdrain, storm drain systems, excavation, etc. + Strong computer skills include the ability to use/learn the Heavy Bid estimating software, word process, spread sheets, and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook). + Possess good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment, and willing to work long hours including weekends when needed and required. + Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record with no more than three (3) moving violations and no DUI's within the last three (3) years to be considered for the job + Must pass a pre-employment physical examination including a drug screen and alcohol test to be considered for the job. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: + Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. + Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces + Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level + Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
