Procedures & Tasks
This position is responsible for taking on a variety of tasks and projects to ensure the watering of plants for a large-scale indoor cannabis cultivation. This tasks include prepping and properly staking each plant with emitter lines, watering propagated plants, conducting substrate sensor readings and reportings, monitoring of the cultivation plant health and emitting, and supporting projects assigned by the leadership of the department
Supporting the maintenance of the Irrigation department objectives and equipment as instructed by leadership of the department. Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the work area.
This position is expected to perform tasks in a timely manner, accurately, safely, and compliant. This position will be responsible for participating in their role throughout the scheduled shift, consistently.
Use company logs and reporting software to input data for the Production department
Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the cultivation.
Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Production dept tasks, Post Harvest dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Training Requirements
This position will follow the direction and training by the Lead of Irrigation and/or Supervisor of Production assigned to the Buckeye Lake, OH cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.
Training towards PharmaCann's mission statement and leadership development.
Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.

Collect and clean pieces of equipment. Keep all equipment in good working order. Purge table lines according to company procedures. Clear tables of any loose debris.
This position is responsible for utilizing equipment and supplies provided by leadership properly, as trained. This position must report to leadership when the equipment operating with is malfunctioning.
Responsible for sanitizing, cleaning, and maintaining of irrigation and fertigation equipment and cultivation area as instructed.
Direct the communication and reporting of plant health and water system issue concerns with the Manager of Irrigation for proper awareness of organization and analysis.
Compliance and Reporting
Take instruction from Irrigation leadership towards upholding current laws and regulations for the cultivation facility. Adapt to updated laws and regulations to implement safe and effective practices to sustain highest quality standards and efficiencies.
Take instruction from leadership with updating and tracking all required information in the Irrigation department logs and spreadsheets daily.
Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be addressed, reported, and resolved. Communication with appropriate leadership to ensure resolution.
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the Lead of Irrigation and Supervisor of Production.
This position is expected to follow and obey the company policies.
Working Conditions
Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Able to move about an indoor agricultural, typical manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is part of a fast paced environment. Working in warmer, agricultural conditions, wearing cover-all uniforms for protective layering.

Purpose
The Cultivation Technician I - Trim position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Post Harvest department assigned by leadership. This role will take on objectives, such as, breaking down harvested plants, takedowns of dried product, operating machinery to trim, sort and touch-up product, and cleaning of the area. This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy, and participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Post Harvest Technician will report to the Leads of Cure and Trim and Supervisor of Post Harvest.

Essential Duties
Procedures & Tasks
This position will help towards a variety of tasks from breaking down the plants to preparing the dried and sorted product to be ready for packaging stage. Processing the plants accordingly, separating bud material product, extraction material product, and unhealthy product consistently. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.
Data Entry input for harvested and processed plants and harvest batches, supporting the organizing and securing of all BioTrack tags. Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of spreadsheets and labels.
Organize and process the dried cannabis product. Ensure product is dried and cured properly, sorted through machinery efficiently, remediate product as necessary, trimming product according to desired texture and appearance, and properly store it for the next phase of Post Harvest.
Properly use equipment and supplies to maintain its integrity and longevity. Operating the machinery as instructed and trained, safely.
Quality assurance review of product to be properly separated and processed.
Organization and reporting data entries to spreadsheets and logs, including weigh-ins. Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of spreadsheets and labels. Communicating concerns with leadership of the department for missorted or unsatisfactory dried cannabis products.
Assist associates to achieve team goals, and support the leadership of Post Harvest with instructed requests. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas. Maintain a culture of professionalism.
Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Cure dept tasks, Packaging dept tasks, Farm dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Training Requirements
This position will follow the direction and training by the leadership of the Post Harvest department assigned to the Dwight, IL cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.

Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors, table, floors etc.).
Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Post Harvest department areas.
Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.
Reporting data input as instructed for BioTrack plant tags.
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the Leads of Cure and Trim and Supervisor of Post Harvest.

**Job Duties**

- Maintain job records, complete work orders, and document time and materials used.
- Provide clients with excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and work procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
- Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
- Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
- Valid Driver's License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
- Experience with computers or tablets.

**Here's what you'd do:**
An Irrigation Technician is able to foresee potential problems and have the specialty skills needed to solve them. Careful planning and the ability to anticipate issues are qualities which BrightView particularly value. People with your mindset and proactive work-style, are just what our customers expect.
**You'd be responsible for:**
+ Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
+ Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
**You might be a good fit if you have:**
+ Along with supervisory skills and your proactive manner, we require a minimum of 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
+ A valid driver's license
+ Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing are also essential.
**And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:**
+ Bilingual in Spanish
+ Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends
