Lead will give workers detailed feedback on their level of performance most especially when they are not performing up to company expectations, in order for them to meet potential and improve production. Lead will draft a shift schedule for workers, to ensure hours of operation are covered and to avoid frustration/agitation between workers over noncompliance by some team members. Lead will verify and monitor the adherence to the established work schedule and report any inconsistencies. Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information using mobile based shredding equipment. Operates a company vehicle in a safe, professional manner. Shows proficiency in handling and maneuvering trucks and equipment. Transports documents, equipment, hard drives, supplies, etc. to and from customer locations while complying with traffic regulations. Responsible for safe and proper loading and unloading trucks. Performs mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment. Follows all safety requirements as outlined in company policies. Maintains a responsible approach to all security matters related to VRC operations while always following the company's policies and procedures. Develops and maintains a relationship with the customers. Completes all necessary paperwork accurately as required by company policy. Maintains cleanliness of truck interior and exterior. Always maintains personal appearance and truck presentation in accordance with policies. Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To Assist warehouse in storing incoming produce, returning produce to coolers, fuels trucks and trailer refrigeration unit, occasionally product orders, hook and unhook truck from trailer, inspect equipment, load, unload trailer, and breakdown pallets of produce. Fill out and complete required paperwork in a timely manner. Our delivery drivers are responsible for the local delivery of produce to predetermined customers on a specific route in a safe and timely manner. Load and unload truck with pallet jack or hand truck, pick up returns, interact with all customers in a professional manner, help resolve or communicate customer issues with the management team, collect signatures and payment at time of delivery. Timely and accurate completion of paperwork Good customer service skills Practice safe driving techniques Deliver produce by deadline Keep vehicles up to company standards Occasional Warehouse duties Responsible for Quality and Food Safety. Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with an outward and driver facing dash cam. Adhere to company policy regarding dash cam usage and data privacy. Drivers are expected to maintain the functionality of their assigned vehicle's dash cam. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills and Experience High School Diploma or GED, speak and read the English language, bi-lingual preferred; At least one (1) year experience in driving route deliveries. Must have a valid Alaskan Driver's License. Provide at least a five (5) year Driving Record from an Alaskan DMV Valid Medical Card Pass pre-employment drug test, background, and reference check Able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly Ability to work in a refrigerated environment Work an electric/manual pallet jack/dolly safely Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
