Connect hoses between trailer and unloading/loading facility and monitor unloading/loading process. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Adhering strictly to safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal safety and the cargo. Maintaining communication with dispatchers, clients, and team members to update on progress, delays, or any issues that may arise during transportation. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. Education & Experience: High school diploma preferred. 2 years truck driving experience is required Ability to successfully multi-task, works efficiently, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must have experience with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel. Good safety practices and driving habits. Requirements: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must have two years of proven work experience as a truck driver. Drug Screening.
