Maintain good personal and uniform appearance and be courteous to the public, parking customers, City employees and Waukesha Metro Transit personnel at all times.
Intervene to terminate acts injurious or potentially injurious to others or property.
Patrol in accordance with routes and schedules established in the Posted Orders, at the direction of the Supervisor.
Notify appropriate Waukesha Metro Transit and/or Parking supervisor and/or Waukesha Police of any activity which is suspected of being criminal in nature.
Investigate questionable acts or behavior observed or reported on City property and question witnesses and suspects to ascertain or verify facts.
Respond to reports of ill or injured passengers, citizens and employees, render first aid when appropriate, and notify Waukesha Metro Transit personnel, the Parking Supervisor or Waukesha Fire if further assistance is necessary or desirable.
Under extraordinary circumstances, detain within legal limits and in accordance with written policy and procedure, any individuals reasonably suspected of damaging City or personal property or injuring others, for further investigation or arrest by local law enforcement agency.
Maintain order and use good judgment and discretion in handling unruly passengers or trespassing public.
Maintain an accurate daily log and write daily reports, incident reports, and non-employee injury reports.
Maintain law and order within the Downtown Parking Ramp, Transit Center and/or City Hall.
When assigned to the Transit Ramp, unlock and lock: lobby of Transit Center, staff vehicle parking gates and all assigned doors at the times prescribed in the post orders.
In emergency situations, assume leadership and provide direction to employees and public to take shelter/evacuate following established emergency action plans of the Downtown Parking Ramp or Transit System/City.
Monitor individuals for loitering. If person(s) are in the Downtown Parking Ramp, Transit Center or City Hall for longer than the allowable time limit, escort them off the premises and/or have them cited for loitering. Report those who are loitering to the Parking Supervisor.
The Transit Center patrols are weekday mornings and evenings Monday-Saturday. The City Hall patrols are weekday mornings and late afternoon to evening.
The Downtown Parking Ramp patrols are conducted 5 pm to 10 pm daily.
Other duties as assigned. This may include additional assignments to meet emergency situations or special-duty assignments.
When assigned to the Transit Center:
Be present and patrol on the transit concourse no less than five minutes before buses are scheduled to pull into the Transit Center, patrol the concourse during the transfer period and remain on the concourse no less than five minutes after the last bus has left the Transit Center.
After buses leave, patrol the rest of the facility including the stair towers, parking decks, elevator cars and lobbies and the complete surrounding area of the Transit Center.
Monitor the security cameras for the Transit Center and City Hall when not on foot patrol.
When assigned to City Hall:
Be present and patrol the parking decks of the Transit Center and North Street Stairwell, Skywalk, City Hall lobby as well as the rest of City Hall including the exterior.
When assigned to the Downtown Ramp:
Be present and patrol on The Ramp and the rest of the facility including the stair towers, parking decks, elevator cars and lobbies and the complete surrounding area of the Downtown Ramp.
Monitor the security cameras for the Downtown Ramp in the Main Office when not on foot patrol.
All guards on duty shall work collaboratively with each other and assist each other as required.
Other Job Functions
Performs related duties as assigned.
Graduation from high school or GED plus 5 years of experience in law enforcement or security services; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability and skills:
Knowledge of
Department policies and procedures pertaining to safety and security.
English language both speaking and writing (Preferred-Conversational Spanish).
Public safety and security procedures/protocols.

Strong hires can quickly move from trainee to team member and then up to manager.
We provide a guaranteed minimum hourly pay range depending on seniority. $17 / hour to $25 / hour. Potential to earn $30 / hour based on earning commision from the number of completed stops. In addition to the hourly pay we also pay a quarterly bonus between $750-$3000 for maintaining the safety and security of our employees and the service.

Screening:

What will you be doing? Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property through continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the 1,300-acre campus.
Write professional case reports on incidents.
Provide CPR and first aid as a trained first responder.
Operate a dispatch center, handling key control, fire alarm and CCTV monitoring, and dispatching routine and emergency calls.
Perform proactive security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
Investigate situations and conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the role? Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred.
Knowledge of security and law enforcement practices is a plus.
College education preferred.
Exceptional people skills, strong writing and logical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the Casino.
Assist patrons with a wide variety of inquiries and situations including providing information about the property and events, giving directions and escorting them if necessary.
Patrol the casino areas to establish a security presence and report all unusual situations and/or suspicious persons.
Assist in the coordination and resolution of emergency situations.
Assist in maintaining proper key control.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company's Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion, and Dedication.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing work and public spaces.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Constantly alert and attentive to all activity on the casino floor.
Observes and reports on all activities as required by IGB regulations and Security team reporting regulations.
Complies with all Internal controls and IGB regulations.
Ensures Under-21 persons do not enter the casino, unless escorted by a gaming licensed
team member.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of Veridocs Identification Verification.
Proficient with Evolv Operation and Procedures.
Escorts cash, guests, vendors, and visitors as directed and/or required.
Transports, safeguards, and collects drop boxes.
Responds to Jackpots/table fill requests.
Competent with the daily drop processes.
Parking lot vehicle patrol- valid driver's license required.
Parking lot bicycle patrol.
Shuttle driver-parking lot and hotel- valid driver's license required.
CPR/Narcan nasal spray trained.
Provides assistance and performs necessary tasks associated with casino operations and gambling activities in compliance with IGB regulations, including but not limited to, asset protection and movement, access control, and facility security.
Notifies Security managers, supervisors, and the Director of Security, as necessary, of all emergencies and urgent conditions and circumstances that come to their attention.
Contacts law enforcement team members, fire team members, and other relevant organizations during emergency situations as necessary.
Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the HRCR ICS.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. One (1) year of security related experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc):
Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Must successfully pass background check.
Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Must have a VALID Driver's License that has not been suspended, denied, or revoked in the past 3 years.
No Major Violations while operating a vehicle.
Cannot have two (2) or more at fault accidents or three (3) or more moving violations.
Drivers of company vehicles must have a valid driver's license and meet the requirements/standards listed on the Motor Vehicle Permit Application provided by Hard Rock.

The Position: Under the general direction of the Public Services Manager, the Security Guard, known in the library as a Patron Relations Assistant, will be required to perform any of the following tasks:
Connect and build collaborative relationships with patrons and community organizations.
Educate library users on appropriate behaviors and enforce all facility rules, policies, and procedures.
Resolve conflicts, elicit cooperation, and negotiate solutions without resorting to unneeded conflict.
Provide security for all areas of the Waukesha Public library grounds to maintain a safe and inviting atmospheres for all patrons and staff.
Assist in crisis situations and emergencies and investigate and handle disturbances including contacting law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
Intercede when patrons fail to comply with the law and/or Library rules and policies; explain rules and policies to patrons; solicit patron cooperation and compliance; enforce correction of infractions through verbal warnings; de-escalate sensitive situations.
Observe, identify and report security and/or safety conditions and concerns and remove patrons who are in violation of the Library Code of Conduct; recommend procedures and methods to prevent security issues.
Work with Library staff to monitor, recognize, and resolve security problems and keep the Public Services Manager informed of activities and/or problems.
Obtain, record, and maintain necessary documentation, record and report incidents and events.
Serve as the liaison between Library staff, police agencies, social service organizations, contracted security personnel and the public.
Exercise excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and communicate clearly, persuasively, and diplomatically with Library staff and the public while enforcing security rules, often under stressful situations.
Knowledge of accepted practices relating to security operations, particularly those that relate to public facilities.
Possess excellent observation skills and can remain alert and attentive, anticipate potential disruptive behavior and safety or security threats and take preventative action.
Capable of communicating in writing and preparing clear, detailed and accurately written reports, logs, and other documentation.
Requirements: Graduation from high school or GED plus 2 years of experience in law enforcement or security services; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability, and skills:
Knowledge of public safety and security, the use of general office equipment including computers and relevant software, relevant safety and security information, resources available to assist patrons with mental health issues, substance abuse, unstable housing, exclusion issues, trauma, or other life challenges, first Aid/CPR. (Preferred).
Ability to respond to the needs and interests of all library patrons, prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations, establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and the public, follow directions and work with minimal supervision, be firm and respond quickly and decisively, exercise good judgment in demanding situations, learn basic policies and procedures of the library, regularly walk around and patrol the library, anticipate potential disruptive behavior and safety or security threats and take preventative action, and think quickly and critically.
Skills in oral and written communications, public relations, organization and attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands: Work is performed mostly indoors. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, prolonged visual concentration, and the ability to adjust focus.
