Cashiers at Cub follow front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations, and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service! Job Responsibilities: * Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates * Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner * Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons * Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges * Assist with customer questions or requests * Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning Job Requirements: * Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.). * Able to stand for long periods of time. * Memorization, reading, writing and math. * The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service. * Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available. * Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing. * Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays. * Must be 18 years of age and older.
