RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Management: * Must have a good working knowledge of product and product usage. * Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipment to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. * Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Able to receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit. Prepare and expedite shipments: * Determine the best method and mode for shipment to our customer. * Determines labeling requirements. * Assemble and pack product containers and ensure proper loading on truck / trailer. * Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner. * Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage when appropriate. Operation of equipment: * Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, preventing damage to equipment or product. * Use lift truck or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Operate the stretch wrap banders, fork truck, tie-downs and other fastening or securing tools. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area. Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles. Determine operational capability of motor vehicles Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles. Maintain inventory of all materials used. Compliance to company policies and procedures Compliance to safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
