Responsibilities

About this Role
The Warehouser at Potelco Inc. is responsible for receiving, issuing and maintaining all materials necessary for the operation of the storeroom/yard for Potelco's Northern Operations. - Be willing to be in a messy job, this position is taking vitamin formulas in a powder form and running them through a encapsulation machine, its very common to get powder onto your self during the shift, some formulas are multi colored, and some don't have the best smell. Coveralls, hairnets, booties, gloves, masks are required during shift and full body hooded plastic suits are provided if you would like.

· Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
· Capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
· Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

· Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
· Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
· Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
· Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
· Marks materials with identifying information.
· Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
· Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
· Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
· Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
· Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
· Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
