Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibility includes but not limited to:
Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material.
Records receipts and reports discrepancies.
Compares and matches paperwork such as packing slips and certifications with purchase orders.
Transports goods and may utilize material handling equipment and vehicles.
Performs receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping of goods.
Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration.
Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base
Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for delivery to the production floor, convey in a timely fashion
Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing
Support all facility regulatory and safety codes
Maintain inventory accuracy and accessibility

Development Levels:

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's license a must.
Aviation related technical degrees preferred, not required

The Material Handler's primary responsibility is to provide support for the mill's production activities as well as loading and unloading the mill's raw materials and finished products using powered industrial trucks. This position status is non-exempt and works a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Follow GMPs, HACCP, Lock Out Tag Out, and all company/regulatory standards for quality, sanitation, food safety, and environment.
* Operate and maintain forklift; keep permit current.
* Pull, stage, verify truck loads; receive deliveries and complete accurate logs.
* Perform carrier inspections and handle paperwork.
* Maintain clean, organized warehouse; follow FIFO rotation.
* Wrap pallets, organize racking, and perform cycle counts.
* Communicate with QA, management, and trucking companies as needed.
* Write work orders and keep paperwork up to date.
* Support packaging operations: supply materials, learn equipment, assist lead, and ensure area cleanliness.
* Unload bottles into hopper throughout the day.
* Report issues to management/QA.
* Complete other duties as assigned.
