Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment Quality: Develops and implements quality related training programs for all employees Applies statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods Performs in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading Communicates quality issues and out of specifications conditions to plant leaders Completes laboratory testing and collects samples at established intervals Other: Group Lead will have responsibility for two or more departments (i.e. Production, Warehouse, etc.). Lead will have responsibility for one mid-to-large department or a limited number of shift employees. Other duties and roles maybe assigned by plant management Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. Responsible for raw materials (resin) by keeping extruder fed with resin mixture Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workers Give assistance to co-workers to expedite changeovers What You'll Bring Essential Qualifications: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools Strong communication skills and positive attitude Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience Basic computer knowledge Previous manufacturing experience Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary: Wages ranging from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
