This role ensures seamless communication and execution of services across areas of order management, inventory control, appointment scheduling, and billing. Key job duties: Order Management •Initiate, modify, cancel, and confirm customer orders. •Adjust orders based on inventory availability and communicate those changes proactively. •Respond to order status inquiries and distribute relevant documentation, including Bills of Lading and Proofs of Delivery. •Oversee export procedures, including the preparation of USDA documentation and inspection coordination. Inventory Management •Process inventory holds and release requests. •Manage special day holds and communicate placarding or segregation needs to operations. •Facilitate inter-customer product ownership transfers. •Conduct detailed inventory inquiries and generate traceability reports in the event of product recalls. Billing and Financial Administration •Generate and format invoices for third-party payment processing. •Audit billing for accuracy, including accessorial charges and credit memos. •Reconcile month-end invoices and perform invoice audits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Rack detail parts on racking fixtures prior to cleaning or finishing • Masking of units prior to degreasing or finishing • Manually run rack with detail parts and assemblies through chemical baths in accordance with AMETEKs working procedures • Counting bagging and labeling of parts after cleaning • Assisting in addition, change and maintenance of chemical baths • Maintain and clean working area • Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: • Must read, write, and speak English.     The Stores Operations Team is a hands-on group involved in all aspects of inventory management and warehouse logistics for Con Edison. The Stock Handler is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory, and in certain locations, the handling of waste products to support various internal customers. This role involves operating a variety of material handling equipmentincluding forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipmentwithin both warehouse and yard environments to support the safe and efficient movement of materials and, in certain locations, waste products. Required Education/Experience High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education/Experience Customer Service. Experience in Supplying Materials. Experience handling and managing inventory. Train to operate fork trucks within three months and other equipment up to 20 tons, e.g. track trucks, cable trucks, switcher, etc. (as required). Use manual and electric packaging equipment. Perform yard operations and spare part operations, including: picking, loading, measuring cable, tagging reels, inventories, coil cutting and fabrication, re-reeling, transformer operations, crane/rigging operation etc. Perform environmental administrative and manual work such as inspecting and maintaining storage areas, spill notification/clean up, manifesting waste on EMIS and logging drums in and out on tracking forms (hard copy and computer) and on computer tracking programs. Load and unload material or drums on to vehicles with lifting devices, which includes picking and packaging company and vendor materials. Make safety the first priority and identify any potential safety and environmental hazards.
