Responsible for unloading and receiving shipments, preparing outgoing shipments and coordination with Customer Service team to ensure that all shipping documents are completed accurately and timely. AVAILABLE SHIFTS: MON - FRI 7am -3:30pm PAY RATE: $20/hr DUTIES Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards Transact customer orders using both carrier and ERP systems. Providing quality control inspections, as necessary, within the workflow. Package and tape international shipments in multi-pack cartons for export. Affix shipping labels on packed cartons. Take an accurate inventory count at the end of each day. Package product for shipping, ensuring all necessary product cables and instructions are in the box. Assemble cardboard cartons as needed for large, multipack shipments. Move prepared shipments from the shipping cart to the dock door as needed. Call and/or email forwarding companies to arrange pick-up. Consign shipments to forwarders and ensure the correct shipments are consigned to the forwarder by listening carefully and checking documents. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 1 year of recent experience in packaging and shipping.
