Purpose: The Warehouse department plays an integral role in the success of broader roles for the organization's supply chain and logistics operations. Scope: The Warehouse department maintains efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, overall customer satisfaction and commitment to safety and quality through the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in close partnership with the Logistics department. Our Warehouse department is made up of the following roles: Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Lead - Maintenance, Warehouse Lead - Project, Warehouse Associates Responsibilities: Inspection and Verification: Checks received goods for quantity, quality, and any damage or discrepancies against purchase orders or shipping documents. Documentation: Completes receiving reports, updates inventory records, and communicates any issues to relevant departments. This role is Monday-Friday 12pm- roughly 8:30 pm starting at $18.75/hr (with overtime as required). Employees leave each day once the dock work for the day is completed. Responsibilities/Duties: Accurately load and unload trucks with a lift truck, pallet jack, or two-wheel dolly. Correctly weigh incoming material using a floor scale. Identify fasteners or products from the packing slips provided. Locate and ship outgoing material to the appropriate customers. Correctly package ups for shipping. Interact with customers and drivers in a courteous manner. Complete appropriate documents and necessary paperwork.
