The Systemic Risk Group (RMG/SRM) at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is seeking a senior research consultant to support the development of a Systemic Risk Framework for Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). The consultant will work closely with IDB researchers to apply mathematical rigor and develop innovative quantitative methods for systemic risk measurement and management. This collaboration will culminate in a co-authored working paper on systemic risk management for MDBs, designed for both academic and policy audiences, and intended to serve as a foundation for systemic risk management at the IDB and across MDBs more broadly. The working paper may be further developed into an article for submission to a peer-reviewed journal, subject to IDB's approval.
This opportunity is particularly well suited for a Ph.D. candidate or recent Ph.D. graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Risk Analytics, or related quantitative disciplines. occasionally after dark. May require the operation of a ATV/UTV on both public

The Field Enumerator plays a vital role in supporting agricultural producers by collecting accurate and unbiased data, providing essential information that farmers, ranchers, rural communities, and other agricultural businesses rely on. An enumerator conducts interviews in a professional and representative manner, effectively communicating benefits in all survey-related activities through in-depth interviews with a diverse range of agricultural operations in person and over the telephone, as well as conducting crop counts in designated agricultural fields.
All enumerators undergo comprehensive training for specific studies on animal and plant health, farming practices, procedures, and various questionnaires required to perform the job effectively. Responsibilities require result-oriented individuals to enter their detailed data gathered from agricultural operators in a timely manner, report daily progress, time, and mileage. The field enumerator is provided on-the-job training, flexibility, opportunities for professional advancement, and starts at $17.75, plus mileage reimbursement and required supplies.
It is mandatory to have a private workspace with a functional telephone and minimal distractions; a maintained personal vehicle for travel related to field enumerator duties; a flexible schedule that may include some evenings and weekends to meet deadlines (weather, seasonal farm responsibilities, and community functions may affect work hours); proficiency in computer systems and/or iPads; experience working in a deadline-driven environment with multiple tasks; the ability to examine crop status in corn or soybean fields, lift/carry up to 40 lbs., walk unassisted on uneven ground for up to 100 yards; and the ability to travel up to 250 miles on a quarterly basis for training, as needed.

TALENT MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
* Support partners in resource planning and in building collaborative and effective teams.
* Manage the feedback and review (HL Dialogue) processes for the Americas C&F associates and counsel. Collaborate with partners, counsel, and associates on the skills to actively participate in the feedback and review process.
* Assist with staffing solutions for associates and counsel to ensure appropriate legal and professional skill development.
* Coordinate with the C&F knowledge lawyers to integrate knowledge programs and resources into the day-to-day development of the associates and counsel.
* Support the successful implementation and completion of global cyclical processes, such as the performance review and feedback processes; annual partner and counsel elevation processes, partner conversations and partner 360s, and capacity management.
* Works closely with the Engagement leads to support the retention, advancement and engagement of our associates and counsel.
RECRUITING & ONBOARDING
* Support the recruiting needs and approval process for both student and lateral recruiting.
* Support the on-boarding process for new attorneys - with a focus on lateral integration.
MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATION
* Review utilization to ensure associates within the Practice Groups are fully utilized and flag potential issues for the Director of Attorney Talent, the HRBP, Practice Operations team, and the PALs as applicable.
* Conduct exit interviews of all C&F attorneys and report on results and trends.
* Assist with the year-end compensation process.
CULTURE & ENGAGEMENT
* Collaborate with People team, the PALs, and the C&F Practice Operations team to plan events to maintain and build morale and increase associate engagement and satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the People team and members of other Business Services departments to suggest and implement initiatives responsive to industry trends and internal and external engagement survey feedback and designed to enhance the day-to-day work environment of our attorneys.
* Manage practice specific mentoring and engagement programs.

HOURS

In Washington, D.C., the annualized salary range for this position is $140,000 to $172,000 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
