Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on finance leader to join our team as a Controller or CFO, depending on experience. The successful candidate may initially serve as Controller, with a path to grow into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role as the company scales. Experience in Construction or Cost Accounting is essential. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of the unique financial complexities in the construction industry, including project-based accounting, job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and contract compliance. Familiarity with AIA billing, retention, and change order management is highly valued. This role requires more than just accounting expertise - we are looking for someone with strong business acumen and leadership potential. You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, implement and maintain internal controls, and deliver accurate financial reporting. Just as importantly, you will act as a strategic partner, providing insights and analysis that drive informed decision-making across the organization. As the company grows, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing executive-level financial strategy, helping lead the business through its next stages of development.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial leadership roles.
Proven experience in construction or cost accounting, with a deep understanding of WIP schedules, job costing, and AIA billing.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Proficiency in accounting and project management software used in the construction industry (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Foundation, or similar).
Experience managing or overseeing HR functions, such as employee benefits, compliance, and recruiting.
Preferred
CPA, CMA, or MBA.

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

SUMMARY:
The Facilities Technician position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the second level (Tier2) technical support team. This position carries out expert level diagnostic investigation and engineering for highly complex issues or issues with substantial service impact and collaborate with peer support teams to generate a support plan to maintain and/or resolve issues in the shortest timeframe and as efficiently as possible. Engineering, Implementation, Project Management of critical equipment; includes but is not limited to electrical switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC/CRAC systems, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, BMS systems, and fire alarm and suppression systems.
Provide on-site operation and manage vendors on installation, repair and maintenance of critical systems infrastructure equipment ensuring workplace rules and safety procedures.
Resolves technical issues that cannot be resolved through normal operations and maintenance procedures and provide leadership on outage calls to drive issue resolution and limit impact to customers. Ensures compliance to the customer's Outage Reporting Process and collaborate with Engineering, Product Development and the vendor technical organizations when required to drive long-term product improvements.

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a minimum of
eight years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination
of education and experience
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, construction
drawings, specifications, engineering narratives, and government regulations
Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural
documentation
Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from
managers, clients, and stakeholders in both formal and informal settings
Strong mathematical skills, including knowledge of geometry, trigonometry,
probability, and statistical inference
Able to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,
and proportions to real-world applications
Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to address practical
challenges and interpret a variety of instructions in written, verbal,
diagrammatic, or schedule form
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and
PowerPoint
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools and project management software
Supervisory experience, including interviewing, training, assigning tasks,
evaluating performance, and resolving personnel issues in accordance with
company policies and applicable laws

Compensation (Pay Range): $125,000-135,000 DOE (Exempt)
An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several
factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant
education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. *Bonus

Job responsibilities:
Drive to multiple customer's homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances with high levels of quality and efficiency; appliances may include refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves
Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations consistently
Provide customers with value-added solutions that help make their home more clean, comfortable & protected
Keep company truck well-maintained & organized, and help manage parts efficiently

Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree
EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing & repair tools
