Qualifications BS/MS in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of five years of experience in full-stack web development, with a strong digital portfolio showcasing previous projects. Expert proficiency in building and maintaining responsive sites in Drupal and WordPress, including experience with version updates, plug-in development, customization, theme extensions, API integration, and troubleshooting. Extensive experience using web core technologies (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript). Extensive experience with PHP and PHP production frameworks. Experience with MVC development and template creation for content management systems (experience with Drupal and WordPress is a plus). Responsibilities & Qualifications BOEM and BSEE are responsible for managing the nation's offshore energy, minerals, and natural resources on the Federal Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). BSEE promotes safety, protects the environment, and conserves resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. BOEM manages the responsible exploration and development of offshore energy and marine mineral resources on the OCS. OCS production accounts for about 18 percent of domestic crude oil and four percent of domestic natural gas supply. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Ten years of technical experience in applications software development, three of which are in systems analysis, and 1 year of which is acting as technical lead. * Has a good understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed. * Proficient with software languages such as HyperText Markup Language (HTML), JAVA, JavaScript, Python, CCS, SQL, NoSQL, C#, Perl or other languages as required. * Competent to work at a high level for all phases of system/database development/management. * Extensive experience in GIS development and integration, specifically utilizing ESRI platforms * Proficiency of SQL and PL/SQL for database management and manipulation. * Must have the ability to pass a DOI Background Investigation for a Public Trust Clearance, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
