What You'll do
The Purpose of the Human Resources Lead is to assist with various human resources functions and to provide support to both management and associates at their location. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment while upholding company policies and legal compliance. The HR Lead will be responsible for overseeing employment-related activities at the location level, which include but are not limited to staffing, timekeeping, record keeping of performance coaching, benefits administration, and training coordination.

Review applications to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.

Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and store management, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding to provide a smooth and positive new hire experience.
Plan and take part in community events to enhance hiring efforts and promote employment opportunities.
Coordinate and conduct new associate orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date associate records in the Human Capital Management system, including personal information, attendance, leave management, and all other relevant documentation.
Assist with benefits administration and enrollment processes.
Coordinate and conduct training sessions on assorted topics, including workplace policies, positions specific training, and associate development.
Support performance management processes, aiding with goal setting, performance evaluations, and associate development plans.
Serve as a point of contact for associates, addressing inquiries promptly and providing guidance.
Assist your HR Business Partner to resolve associate conflicts and disciplinary issues, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
Partner with the Store Support Center Human Resources and the Store Manager with policy, procedure, and initiatives.
Maintain associate communication by removing outdated communications and posting current information on RK programs, benefits, schedules, location performance, wellness, safety compliance, and other pertinent information.
Oversee the location's safety program including maintaining the accident/incident files, communicating daily safety topics, completing the safety audits, and completing accident reviews.
Maintain a strong code of ethics and high degree of confidentiality of information about all company, associate, community, legal, and all other matters.
Regularly communicate, both written and verbally, with partners from Store Support Center in a professional manner.
Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and computer.
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
Oversee monthly cash reporting as needed.
Maintain office and breakroom supplies.
Maintain breakroom and training space standards.
Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities.

You'll oversee a talented maintenance team, champion preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and play a major part in the site's continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role offers significant influence and visibility across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including scheduling, prioritizing work, and supervising a team of 10-15 maintenance technicians, a maintenance planner, and an MRO purchaser/crib stock attendant.
Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant working environment by upholding company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Manage and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to prioritize and assign work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activity.
Maintain and monitor employee work time, approving timecards, managing attendance, and coordinating time-off requests to ensure proper coverage across all shifts.
Develop and maintain annual capital and maintenance budgets; analyze trends, identify variances, and take corrective actions to meet financial targets.
Oversee crib stock inventory, critical spare programs, and vendor coordination.
Drive all maintenance processes including troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Build and execute a structured maintenance training program to elevate technician skillsets and strengthen the department.

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience developing and managing budgets, maintenance schedules, and performance reporting.

Monitor and update production timelines, delivery dates, etc. and communicate those updates with customers and suppliers.
Remain in compliance with Quality Assurance and Safety standards at all times.
Stay abreast of industry trends and participate in market research meetings.
Travel to supplier locations as needed in order to discuss material needs, new product development, resolve quality issues, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience within a manufacturing environment is required
Minimum of 5 years of Production Management experience overseeing a production team within a manufacturing environment is required
Ideal candidates will possess a Six Sigma Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
Must have experience with production scheduling and understand how materials flow efficiently through a manufacturing facility
Must have knowledge of quality standards and health & safety practices and regulations
Must be a natural problem-solver who possesses excellent communication skills

About the role:

You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute
You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
