Key Responsibilities **:**
+ Develops and writes content for WSP proposals, and other marketing deliverables.
+ Provides layout/design for proposals and other marketing collateral through the use of templates, or collaboration with a graphic designer.
+ Serves as an author for proposal content, conveying technical information simply while telling our story, highlighting our strengths, and convey key messages.
+ Provides copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for proposals and other marketing collateral.
+ Gathers information through research, statistical reports and interviews with technical staff to write content for proposals and other marketing collateral.

Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ 7-10 years of experience working in the environmental planning field, completing environmental field surveys for plants and animals, construction support, impact assessments, and permitting.
+ Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Environmental Planning, Ecology, Biological Science (Botany, Wildlife Biology, etc.), Natural Resource Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Exceptional technical writing skills
+ Effective analytical skills and prior experience with research techniques, local/regional ecology and habitats, and identification of wildlife and vegetation species common to the western US.
+ Knowledge of relevant environmental laws, permitting requirements, notification and compliance practices, and applicable Regional/State/Federal regulatory frameworks.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others and expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
+ Proficiency with local plant and animal identification

Stantec is seeking a safety-focused leader with field experience (preferably in construction) to supervise construction quality assurance (CQA) at a mine reclamation project in northern New Mexico beginning January 2026. This person will work onsite daily, directing a team that verifies that construction meets design specifications while working alongside the client and various contractors. This is a full-time onsite role with a minimum 2-year commitment, with potential to extend beyond. Qualified candidates will have relevant field experience and a degree in engineering or geology; an associate's degree with strong surveying skills; a professional surveying license; or comparable, relevant work experience meeting job requirements. This role includes leadership, daily interaction with a great client, and seeing years of geotechnical engineering and mine reclamation design fully implemented.
Potential compensation is excellent, with employees regularly receiving 10 or more hours of overtime per week in addition to a housing allowance, meal per diem, and use of a company provided vehicle, all while living and working near picturesque Taos, New Mexico, which is known for its skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and rafting opportunities.
This position will be expected to identify problems, deficiencies, and design deviations, and develop potential courses of action to address these issues, while communicating and articulating them to the client, construction contractor, and Stantec leadership. Strong leadership of the Stantec CQA field team is essential to the success of this position and will involve delegation of tasks based upon the skills of team-members, clear communication, and attention to detail. This position will require:

This Opportunity The **Regional Director of Alternative Delivery** is entrusted with supervising both the pursuit and execution phases of design delivery for heavy highway and transportation projects pursued through fixed price design/build (DB), public-private partnerships (P3), or progressive design-build (PDB) procurement methods. Your Impact

**Required Qualifications**

Your Opportunity We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. The ideal candidate will design and specify I&C systems for high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, chemical processing, pharmaceutical, water and waste-water processing facilities;
Your Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for preparing wiring and raceway routing plans, instrument data sheets, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, PLC/DCS wiring diagrams, instrument installation plans and details, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases and additional documentation as necessary;
* Oversee the development of electrical designs from concept through construction including preparing one-line/three-line diagrams, circuit schedules and directories, equipment and raceway routing plans, lighting designs, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID), loop wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, sequences of operation, input/output databases, and construction specifications;
* Support administration, and execution of I&C and Electrical execution plans for projects;

Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Familiar with codes NFPA 70, NFPA 497, UL 508A, and UL 698A;
* Experience with Revit and BIM.
* Experience developing P&IDs, loop wiring diagrams, wiring schematics, PLC/DCS control panel layouts, instrument plan diagrams, and conduit routing plans in compliance with ISA standards and practices.
* Designing and implementing industrial communication networks including Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, Devicenet, wireless telemetry, fiber networks;
* Experience with AutoCAD, PLC Programming, ladder logic and HMI SCADA development and programming;
* Experience with supervisory control, data acquisition systems, and communications network for industrial process systems including process HPM delivery systems, ultra-pure water (UPW), industrial waste collection and treatment (IWT), bulk chemical storage and distribution (BCDS), facility monitoring and control, gas plants, power monitoring of electrical distribution systems, exhaust gas scrubbers and thermal oxidizers, and process reactors supporting Mission critical facilities, semiconductor, government, pharmaceutical, biotech or "high-tech" industrial manufacturing business sectors.
Education and Experience

Pay Range:
* Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas-$85,700.00 - $124,300.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Your Impact
Design
Manages the planning, development, and implementation of environmental projects to ensure that development projects comply with environmental laws and regulations with minimal supervision
Develop planning studies and documents related to environmental planning, including; National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act documentation and/or other environmental planning documentation, figures, and maps for environmental and transportation planning studies.
Authors technical reports with clarity and minimal grammatical or spelling errors.
Conducts biological evaluations and wetland studies in support of planning projects.
Prepares and completes environmental survey reports, data entry, impact assessment, and permitting activities for assigned projects (e.g. Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act permitting, NEPA, etc.).
Provides environmental risk identification and impact assessment, offering input with developing action plans for moderate- to high-level threat mitigation and permitting activities projects to minimize impacts to the health of the environment and the population.
Assist with scoping, strategic planning, and developing permitting execution strategy for clients on small - medium-sized projects.
Actively engage in business development and proposal writing.

Prepares technical memoranda, documentation, and reports under minimal supervision
Remain current in latest environmental planning subject matter, practices, regulations, and techniques.
Responsible for understanding regulatory rules and rule changes
Collaborate
Manage field calendar for biological and cultural field surveys, often for multiple projects in multiple locations with up to 6 staff in the field at one time.
Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams in executing project work, permitting strategy, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance, including project budgets, tracking hours and expenses, and task completion.
Provide guidance to junior staff or interns to assist with project flow.
Coordinate with clients, resource/regulatory agencies, and environmental and technical staff in a confident and professional manner.
Collaborate with professionals from a variety of disciplines to provide future ready solutions for clients.
Manage field crews remotely or while in the field to ensure staff safety and adherence to proper protocols for data collection, documentation, and integrity.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of experience working in the environmental planning field, completing environmental field surveys for plants and animals, construction support, impact assessments, and permitting.
Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Environmental Planning, Ecology, Biological Science (Botany, Wildlife Biology, etc.), Natural Resource Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Exceptional technical writing skills
Effective analytical skills and prior experience with research techniques, local/regional ecology and habitats, and identification of wildlife and vegetation species common to the western US.
Knowledge of relevant environmental laws, permitting requirements, notification and compliance practices, and applicable Regional/State/Federal regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others and expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
Proficiency with local plant and animal identification
Experience with discipline-specific software (Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS).
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
