Job Summary (Essential Functions) Ensure smooth and reasonable pace of play on golf course to avoid bottlenecks and delays. Patrol golf course to prevent unauthorized people from using facilities. Assist golfers during play and in any emergencies on the course. Administer First Aid, if necessary. Responsibilities: Observes pace of play. Requests slower playing groups to speed up or allow others to play through, if appropriate. Escorts unauthorized people from course as well as unruly members or guests. Prevents players from entering the course beyond the starting tees. Reports all infractions to starter. Ensures that bunkers are raked. Monitors course maintenance problems. Ensures that divots and ball marks are repaired and that other hazardous areas are marked for repair. Prepare written reports when complaints, accidents or other incidences occur. Ensures that supplies such as flags, water bottles and cups are properly placed throughout the course before and during games; lets management know when supplies run low. Carries and provides clean towels and water for ball washers. Replaces towels on ball washers. Replenishes water in ball washers. Assists Starter at first tee during heavy demand periods. Monitors golf course maintenance problems. Removes loose trash from golf course. Reminds players about appropriate course etiquette. May deliver urgent messages to players on course. Explains rules of the game to players to resolve disputes. Fills on-course water coolers; replenishes cup supplies. Keeps log of daily activities. Obtains necessary tournament permits. Returns lost equipment to owners or to clubhouse. Attends staff meetings. Serves as liaison between players, management and other employees. May help to store golf cars and other equipment at the end of the day. May assist in cleaning course facilities. Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by Assistant Golf Professional. Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service. Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices, including but not limited to natural, acrylic and gel services. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training clients in these areas. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by the Florida board and the spa's policies and procedures. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail. The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs both basic and advanced building maintenance repairs and upgrades. Conducts walk-throughs and visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the location, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment. Perform technical functions including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and repairs of club facilities. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to ensure it is in proper working order, following repair. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and club facilities. Perform plumbing maintenance, electrical, and carpentry functions, as required. Utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to manager. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Responsibilities: * Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. * Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using the spa's scheduling software. * Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries both verbally and in writing in a timely and courteous manner. * Maintain accurate guest records and process payments efficiently at check-out. * Coordinate with spa therapists and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. * Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate issues to management when necessary. * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and ensure all promotional materials are up to date. * Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the spa's operational needs. * Evaluate and respond to all member inquiries involving member accounts. * Ensure all club policies and procedures relating to daily operations and member facility utilization are being followed. * Follow opening and closing procedures throughout facility including locker rooms, dispensaries, spa, salon, fitness center, studios and aquatic areas. * Assist department leaders with special events, projects and other programming including, but not limited to lecture series, charity events and promotions. * Replenish linens throughout facility including locker rooms, dispensaries, spa, salon, fitness center, studios and aquatic areas. * Enhance spa experience by assisting with locker use, offering spa sandals and guiding members/guests to appropriate areas. * Coordinate point of sale procedures for all service appointments including but not limited to Personal and Pilates training, Spa and Salon services, series redemptions, gift cards, retail transactions and guest fee purchases. * Communicate concerns to Spa and Fitness Director or Coordinator on duty. * Any and all other functions as deemed appropriate or necessary by the Spa and Fitness Director to ensure the overall quality of the products and services delivered to the members and guests. Skills: The required skills are essential for delivering excellent member/guest service and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Showing initiative allows you to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues proactively, enhancing the overall experience. Working well under pressure is critical when managing busy periods and multiple guest requests simultaneously. Effective communication, both verbal and written, ensures clear and professional interactions with guests and team members, fostering positive relationships. Flexibility in scheduling enables you to support the spa's operational demands, including peak times and special events, ensuring consistent service quality.
