*Minimum Qualifications: *
* High School graduate or equivalent is required
* Graduate from an accredited school of Radiography is required
* Current continuing education in mammography required
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.
* Ability to function in staff technologist role is required
* Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
* Successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training.

What you will do in this role:
As a basic X-RayTechnician, you will be responsible for performing all required radiological and lab duties according to providers orders, clinical practice under state law and in compliance with company policy and procedures.
Performs drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests accurately.
Processes specimens for reference laboratories.
Maintains, calibrates and performs controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily.
Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Understands and follows company compliance program policies, procedures and follows all company policies pertaining to infection control, hand hygiene, and all OSHA and company policies pertaining to a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
Keeps the clinical environment clean, orderly and in compliance with company policy and accrediting standards.
May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
You should have:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences required.

Description
The position is responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. This position provides radiographic examinations on all age groups served by the entity within the scope of the Express Care Center or Outpatient department practice. The Radiology Technologist Express Care works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to coordinate the patient flow in a manner which is efficient, professional, quality and safe for patient care. Job requires the employee to provide front desk duties including registration, deployment of legal, ethical and compliance related documents, collections, phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, X-Ray and lab services as well as other duties assigned to safely treat the patients. Supports all regulatory standards, National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Precautions, Infection Control Guidelines, patient and employee safety principles along with HIPAA policies. Communicates clearly with patient directly and over the telephone regarding medications, education, and counseling, per physician/advanced practitioner direction.
Qualifications
Degrees: Associates Licenses & Certifications: ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography Basic Life Support Certified Radiologic Technologist Additional Qualifications: Required: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology. CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of Florida or RTR ARRT - Registered Technologist - Radiography 6 months experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Recent graduates can be considered. Change agility and flexibility a must. Depending on the departmental business needs, may be required to be competent in certain skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including registration, lab point of care testing and intake of medical conditions. Employee must maintain licensure/certifications throughout their employment. Minimum Required Experience: 1 year.

As a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist, you are required to produce diagnostic radiographic images for medical interpretation through administration of ionizing radiation.The X-ray technologist will independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of diagnostic exams. Administer ionizing radiation to obtain diagnostic exams as ordered by the physician and - consistent with all applicable legal requirements and restrictions- exercise individual thought, judgment and discretion in the performance of the procedure.
Knowledge and ability to demonstrate competency of differing X-ray equipment. Effectively communicates with patients and/or radiologists. Maintain levels of quality that meet or exceed customer expectations through process improvement and a team-oriented approach.
Demonstrates the ability to use all channels of communications to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict. Maintain confidentiality in matters relating to patients, family and staff in compliance with HIPAA.
Demonstrate proficiency of EMR systems, as well as PACS and DICOM systems for image sharing and interpretation.
Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators as needed. Complete annual and on-going education and site specific competencies/in-services as designated by leadership.

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
ARRT (R)
State license, if applicable required.

The X Ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray, medical, and testing procedures under direct supervision of the treating clinician as well as supports in other areas of the facility as needed including registration and referral management. This position will also perform routine X-ray examinations in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and procedures and applicable regulations. This role requires efficient and accurate delivery of one-on-one patient care while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Also will ensure that every patient is treated with quality clinical care and receives an excellent patient experience from welcoming, respectful, and skillful colleagues.
Responsibilities
X-rayTechnician Duties
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures. Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide verbal and/or written instructions and assist patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure patient care, safety and comfort during the x-ray exam
Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to specification of examination. Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure safety of patients and team members
Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to Center Operations Director
Ensure all Radiology workflows are followed and all Radiology reports cross correctly to EMR
Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient x-ray visit.
Maintain all x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
Medical Support Specialist Duties
Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and any required or requested ancillary testing including but not limited to vaccines and injections, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram testing and respirator fit testing
Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.)
Assist providers during examination and treatment
Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by treating clinician as well as triaging emergent patients as needed
Prepare and assist clinician with procedure set up and injury care
Apply bandages, dressings and splints as ordered by the treating clinician
Dispense medications and DME as ordered by the treating clinician in accordance with state regulations
Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices as well as testing processes used in the center
Maintain supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and stock exam rooms
Maintain and operate all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures
Notify supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or facility is not operating as expected
In partnership with center leadership, assist with patient flow and volume
Keep patients informed of expected wait times during all aspects of the center visit
Responsible for clerical tasks in both the front and back office associated with patient care and proper record keeping
Ensure accuracy in documentation
Perform front office duties: greet patients, obtain authorization, check in/out, communicate wait times, answer multi-line telephone system, and distribute employer results/paperwork as needed
Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
Attend center staff meetings or huddles as required
Assist in maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly appearance throughout the facility
Complete any applicable training including but not limited to clinical competency training that occurs monthly.

Qualifications
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Certifications and/or Licenses:
Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
CPR/First Aid Certification
Job-Related Experience
Customarily has at least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology
Customarily has at least six months of demonstrated experience in X-Ray and familiarity with routine medical procedures
Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare and/or customer service-related experience.

The X-RayTechnician is a trained medical professional performing radiological duties in compliance with regulatory and departmental requirements. The duties of the X-rayTechnician vary from setting to setting, depending on the size, location and type. The X-rayTechnician will perform radiographic exams, ordered by the physician, that are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately. All exams must be performed using the ALARA principle to minimize radiation dose to the patient.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Positions patient under X-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and provides appropriate radiation protection; adjusts switches regulating length and intensity of exposure
+ Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians including procedures, EKG's, phlebotomy and injections.
+ Prepares reports and maintains records of services rendered; maintains radiological film files and storage, pulls X-rays as required for referrals and/or copying; keeps logs for x-rays sent out for referrals. Keeps an updated log that consolidates X-rays performed against reports received.
+ Maintains supplies, equipment, practices OSHA safety standards, performs accurate, legal and ethical documentation at all times.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

+ Ability to effectively collaborate with team members, including doctors, nurses, front desk staff, center managers and market leaders.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required w/in first 90 days of employment
