Primarily responsible for providing delivery of chemicals to satellite yards, frac sites, and customer leases. Safely operate a diesel, 1-ton pickup / gooseneck combo, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor- trailer combination vehicle over heavily congested city highways, rolling hills, and rural roads. Responsible for pre and post trips for all vehicles used to deliver chemicals to customers locations or satellite yards JOB DUTIES: Safely operate vehicles to include (not limited to) delivery trucks, tank trailers/ ISO, over-the-road trucks Strap down totes on trailers to ensure daily runs meet company delivery requirements. Unload totes with a forklift or pump from totes as needed. Ensure empty containers are loaded and strapped down appropriately to return them to the yard. Always maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections both pre and post trip Must operate in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland security requirements and guidelines. Maintain driver's hours of service by using the GeoTab drive app. Obtain shipping papers each time a load leaves a location whether it be from the local yard, satellite yard, customer lease or frac location. Follow all company policies and procedures. Work closely with logistics team ensuring all field or satellite yards are meeting requirements. Required to wear appropriate PPE/safety gear in accordance with company policy. Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment. Occasionally perform delivery duties that require an overnight stay due to driver time expiration. Other duties may be assigned. One year of commercial driving experience Compliant with Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations and DOT regulations for the past 3 years Acceptable motor vehicle record for the past 3 years Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds. DOT REQUIREMENTS DOT Driver Type: Operates Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001+ lbs. Valid Class A CDL: Minimum of 2 years of verified commercial driving experience required. Valid Medical Certificate (Form 5876): Must maintain a current, valid medical certificate. Clear Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Report: All accidents must be reported. Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): No more than 3 moving violations within the last 3 years.
