Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision of all clinical staff, in-service training, documentation oversight, quality of patient care, and the ongoing general provision of daily clinical services including the implementation of; (1) current ethical principles and clinical practice standards; (2) state, utilization management, and accreditation statutory and regulatory provisions applicable to the treatment of substance use populations; (3) company code of conduct; (4) the protection of patient rights and principles; (5) all company policy and procedures
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Progression
* Directs the quality of patient care through admission, daily treatment, and discharge based on currentindustry standards and ASAM criteria. Reviews patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning to ensure appropriate services according to federal, state, utilization review, and accreditation requirements. Oversight includes protection against patient harm, revising treatment process or programming, psychological assessment, group fiduciary, clinical scheduling, and the execution of clinical services that ensures excellent delivery and the highest quality of all treatment services.
Supervision
* Provides supervision in accordance with regulatory standards for clinical staff including Therapists, Counselors, Case Managers, and Group Facilitators. This consists of conducting ongoing clinical supervision meetings, hiring personnel, staff evaluation, direction, discipline and corrective action plans.
Practice & Training
* Implement clinical policies that uphold organizational compliance with industry standards, laws, accreditation, and regulations. Provides employee in-service training that adheres to policy and procedure as well as the enhancement of clinical practices.
On Call
* Oversees all clinical decisions such as the psychological evaluation of risk/harm to self or others, required assessments, reports of abuse, and other mental health concerns that contribute to significant distress. Must be available to staff via phone or text 24/7 and provide a verbal response within a reasonable amount of time.
Service Delivery
* Guides and participates in daily treatment team meetings
* Consults with staff, patients, and families with clinical excellence
* Audits documentation and ensures treatment progression based on individual patient needs
* Encourages and implements an interdisciplinary team approach and coordination of care
* Manages clinical services, scheduling, and quality of care
* Applies current best practice standards for SUD treatment
Qualifications
Education/ Experience:
* Licensed Psychologist (PhD), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
* Completed, or working on, credentialing as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), Approved Certified Supervisor (ACS), and/or completed advanced leadership training
* State substance use certification and/or two or more years' experience working with SUD population preferred
* Two or more years of full time supervisory and direct service experience, including the supervision of SUD treatment staff
* Knowledge of ethical standards, therapeutic methods, treatment procedures for mental health management principles, clinical systems and operations, utilization requirements, quality assurance, and regulatory/accreditation agency requirements.
* Ability to work:
* independently with minimal supervision
* work effectively as part of a larger interdisciplinary team
* focus on patient needs, maintain professionalism, and remain attentive to safety at all times
* develop positive rapport with clientele while maintaining professional boundaries

Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays an integral part in ensuring the safety of the staff and the facility is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for the oversight and tracking of the functioning of the safety equipment and security measure adapted in the facility. All errors are reported timely to the appropriate leadership team member for decision making/repair options.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Makes general repairs to buildings, door, walls, floors, windows, furniture and lockers.
Maintains required records and reports relating to supplies, parts, equipment, work performed and in compliance with JACO, OSHA (list standards)
Operates, cleans and maintains a variety of equipment.
Clean debris and dust from the assigned areas.
Cleans both exterior and interior job sites and vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
Conducts oneself in the best interest of the clients and staff.
Use specialized equipment such as blowers and mowers to perform cleaning duties.
Perform both major and minor repair work around the building such as repairing locks and installing window blinds.
Replace broken windows and door locks.
Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building.
Remove signs of graffiti from walls and windows.
Install and repair electrical wiring and replace bulbs, capacitors, etc.
Inspect company equipment for possible problems and report findings.
Take measures to perform maintenance on equipment and tools.
Perform general maintenance on sanitary and mechanical systems of buildings.
Collect waste from ashtrays and bins and ensure proper waste management procedures are
carried out.
Assist with construction or remodeling projects.
Move furniture and equipment upon instruction.
Maintain the overall condition of the building and grounds.
Make sure that the grounds are free of leaves or trash
Perform inspection of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately taken care of.

How you'll contribute
An Activity Therapist who excels in this role:
Develops a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives, and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs.
Contributes to treatment planning with feedback to nursing and program staff to achieve therapeutic interventions.
Provides direction to nursing staff regarding activity related groups.
Attends to all treatment teams with input into patient's Activity Therapy goals.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in Recreational, Music or Art Therapy or similar field. Additional requirements include:
Licensure or certification per state of practice guidelines (CTRS)
CPR and Handle with Care Certification within 30 day of employment

Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for providing individual, group and family counseling. Conduct clinical assessments for new patients and on-going required assessments. Counselor II will demonstrate expertise in therapeutic interventions, treatment modalities and utilize evidence based practices. Counselor II will participate in Treatment team and provide service coordination as needed for patients. Counselor II will advocate and communicate with the UR department on all aspects of patient care. American Addiction Centers strives to ensure that all of our patients receive the most comprehensive care to address the issues that may impede their recovery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide intervention, assessments, treatment planning, triage and individual/group counseling.
* Initiate and provide family counseling services.
* Provide clinical services to all patients on caseload and assist when needed with other patients as assigned by clinical manager.
* Participate in weekly treatment team meeting and program staff meetings.
* Ensure that all documentation necessary meet contract, licensure, accreditation and standards for services in a timely manner following the AAC's documentation policy guidelines.
* Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure the best care for patient.
* Provide clinical services to outpatient and inpatient adult population.
* Understand and abide by State Department standards, facility accreditation, AAC's policy and procedures.
* Demonstate dependability and adaptability with patients and staff.
* Maintains confidentiality of patient and company information.
* Abide by the standards of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
* Assists in monitoring and managing patient community as a therapeutic milieu.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
* Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences Required (social work, counseling or psychology).
* *Must be license eligible, actively working towards licensure. (LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A)
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a behavioral healthcare field.
* Experience working with substance abuse, addictions, mental health, cognitive behavior treatment and motivational interviewing.
* Knowledge of utilizing electronic health record software and documentation.
* Knowledge of ASAM criteria.
* Counseling experience with adults, an understanding of psychotropic medications and symptoms and effects.
* Ability to read, write and interpret written information, type documentation, present information to groups and participate in meetings.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Valid driver license and insurable driving record (If driving a company vehicle or if driving personal vehicle for company business).
