    We are seeking two Systems Engineer Test Directors to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on board the Pacific Collector and Pacific Tracker vessels ported in Portland, OR. One individual will reside in Portland and the other in Huntsville AL. FTI provides range support services for ballistic and hypersonic test missions at DoD, NASA, and other agency ranges around the world. Mission durations are dependent on customer test schedules which can change with short notice, normally lasting between 2 and 4 weeks. Total trips to both CONUS and OCONUS locations average between 4 and 8 per year. The candidate must be comfortable with travel via land, air, and sea; and be able to work significant overtime hours when deployed.

    Responsibilities
    + Manage mission and maintenance planning, logistics, network and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and upgrade strategies for MDA assets
    + Coordinate efforts between diverse cross functional teams; specifically, DOD, MDA, ship crew/officers and multiple Defense contractor Industries
    + Coordinate pre-mission requirements, test and readiness reviews, meetings, and TELECONs
    + Coordinate post-mission data storage and transfer to the appropriate locations and agencies in accordance with the Data Management Plan
