Responsibilities
At ATI Physical Therapy, we offer a collaborative and welcoming environment where you will:
Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.

Qualifications
High School diploma
Must be 18+ years
Healthcare and/or customer service experience
Preferred
Healthcare experience (Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students)
Certified Personal Trainer experience.
Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities:
Observing and developing knowledge covering therapeutic assessments and treatments for a wide-ranging sports/orthopedic pathologies.
Learning intricacies of marketing strategies and business management within a healthcare setting.
Supports physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials, and performs procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant.
Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, providing and/or assisting patient into physical therapy apparel or apertures.
Provides information to patients by answering questions and requests and allaying fears.
Helps treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting patients into the gym, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, measuring mobility, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Provides equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patient on equipment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred
6 months+ related experience preferred.
CPR Certification preferred
