Primary Duties (Oversight of 3rd party installers)
Management of Job Site
Act as primary site contact with client. Build and maintain a good rapport with GC and/or Customer.
Oversee and ensure 3rd party installer is meeting schedule, sequence, quality.
Ensure that work is completed in the correct sequence unless approved by the Project Manager.
Maintain awareness of pending items (unapproved change orders/quoted work).
Ensure workers performing tasks are not exposed to danger from other trades.
Participate in coordination meetings to achieve project goals within our contractual commitments. This includes coordination with GC and other trades.

Position Summary
The Finishing Specialist Level 1 is an individual who excels in a fast paced, Sheetmetal shop, environment focusing on on-time delivery of parts. This person possesses a strong work ethic. They are a versatile individual who thrives while multitasking. This position will support the finishing department including silkscreen, part mark, epilog, plating, outside process, shipping, wet paint/powder coat and hardware. This position requires reaching a minimum of 2 top levels of these departments.
Essential Functions
Handle parts with care to avoid damage to finishes
Wear proper PPE for job function being performed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Function in a safe and reliable manner to prevent personal injury and/or property damage
Ability to process all aspects of silkscreen and part mark
Operate laser engraver to make plates for part mark and engraving
Efficiently ink fill parts
Understanding of hardware and assembly
Work with supervisors to troubleshoot any difficult installations
Follow procedures to plate parts per print. This includes both chromate and passivate
Use pad printing to mark parts
Wash and emulsion screens
Use machinery & Hand tools to install various types of hardware
Assemble parts using fasteners
Use scale to count hardware
Utilize computer software to create artwork & shipping labels
Use hand tools to install helicoils, dowel pins and other types of inserts for hardware
Ensure that all tanks for plating are at the correct PH and temperature daily
Mask, unmask and deburr painted and powder coated parts
Apply powder coat/wet paint using a powder/spray gun
Utilize oven to bake parts at correct temperature after powder coating
Ensure that paint cures properly per manufacturer instructions
Inspect the evaporator daily
Train new employees as needed
Complete daily inspections of any finishing area and tools/equipment when needed
Keep inventory of supplies and Inform purchasing department when supplies need to be ordered
Wrap, package & label parts for shipment/outside process

What You'll Do:
As an associate you will be working within one of several teams:
Receiving: This team accepts our customers' new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory put away and accepted into our system. The responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions are receiving owned as well.
Picking: Spread across two different processes our picking team is responsible for delivering products to the next stage of the process quickly and accurately. An integral team in the warehouse, pickers and their peers keep the flow of customers products moving and keep the warehouse humming.
Packing: The final touches before a customer receives their products, the packing team is responsible for ensuring the quality of each and every shipment as well as packing the items correctly. The packing team works together with picking to guarantee that shipments are fulfilled perfectly and owns all responsibility around those shipments.
Other Duties as Required: We are a team which means you will be asked to help out in other areas out of your normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently.
