GENERAL FUNCTION: Primary duties include the maintenance and construction and of the gas distribution system by providing high quality gas service to all customers. EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent plus post-secondary education is desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
One to two years of experience in the maintenance and construction of natural gas system is desirable. A minimum of one year of increasingly responsible work experience in construction, maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, or other related work is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must possess knowledge of operational aspects of a natural gas system. Must be able to acquire specific knowledge about every aspect of natural gas system within a reasonable time span.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Must have ability to diagnose and proceed with necessary repairs and maintenance of varied and complex gas issues. Must pay attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Able to analyze information and use logic to address work related issues and problems. Able to perform routine maintenance on system and equipment to determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Must possess strong working knowledge of personal computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to handle a variety of diverse tasks and be able to plan, organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Must be able to read a map. Must have personal characteristics suitable for working with customers and the public. Must demonstrate their aptitude and ability to pass all Company certification requirement tests (Company Gas Program and Operator Qualification Program). Must possess a valid Kansas Drivers License.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Major portion of work day involves general operating activities of natural gas system. Work involves walking, climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, awkward work positions and handling of materials. Job requires heavy lifting of 50 to 100 lbs. on a regular basis. This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to drug testing. Individual must have the ability to perform work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Subject to call 24 hours per day, including weekends and holidays. Work involves outside work in all types of weather.
WAGES: The wage scale for this position is listed in the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Position Summary: A roofer apprentice will report directly to the shop foreperson in the day to-
day operation of the maintenance programs; does skilled work in maintenance and inspections of all types of roofs. Experience in carpentry in cutting, sizing, aligning and overlapping roofing paper and/or other roofing materials, as well as, the ability to use roofing tools is preferred. The roofer apprentice will be required to climb roofs 30 to 100 feet high to repair and inspect roofs; read blueprints and sketch areas needing repaired; assist with maintain a roofing program for all Tulsa Public Schools sites, which includes routine inspections and scheduled roof repairs. Must follow assigned duties and complete jobs in a timely manner. Must possess the ability to learn/perform complex difficult tasks and demonstrate good organizational skills. Other duties may be assigned. The roofer apprentice is a position that is in part educational training to become a roofer. Therefore, he or she is responsible for learning all procedures for maintaining roof systems and drainage, comply with local and federal regulations, and comply with safety requirements. The apprentice must show continued improvement in skill set and knowledge base in order to advance to a craftsperson position.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Welding Apprentice who will Perform welding tasks under supervision on piping and plate within petroleum operations facilities. In addition to welding, the successful candidate must be able to assist in tasks related to welding such as fit‐up, preparation, repair, inspection, and post weld preparation. As required, the Apprentice Welder will also be tasked to assist with general site work such as loading and unloading equipment and materials, site clean‐up and preparation, mobilization, and demobilization to and from the jobsite, scaffolding erection, general tank construction tasks and other duties as assigned.
This role is intended for May 2026 college graduates who majored in an applicable field.
