QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience operating tools, chainsaws, and large equipment is preferred. Quick learning abilities are accepted in lieu of experience.
Must have (or be willing and able to obtain within 12 months of employment) a Class A commercial driver's license.
Must have (or be willing and able to obtain within two years of employment) the qualifications of a line-clearance tree trimmer.
Must have (or be willing and able to learn) the ability to efficiently and accurately operate electronic mobile devices.
Requires ability and willingness to complete an apprenticeship training program by the end of the third year.
Requires willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a CPR Certification and learn other life-saving techniques.
Requires willingness and ability to work in a wide variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow/ice, etc.

While operating a vehicle, complies with all traffic laws, safety rules and regulations, and safe practices, ensuring the safety of the vehicle, its occupants and load, bystanders, and the public.
Observes and inspects powerlines and poles for hazardous conditions or other conditions that might cause a power failure. Accurately collects and reports inspection data.
As qualified and as assigned, assists line crews during normal daily operations.
As qualified, serves as a helper to Journeyman/Lineman during outage restoration events.

Evers Electric has our own Apprenticeship Training School for Apprentice Wiremen and Apprentice Linemen. The programs are recognized and supported by the US Department of Labor and certified by the Arkansas Department of Labor.
Our program takes four years to complete, and we offer classroom and online courses. The courses meet one evening per week for four hours and are taught by some of our top journeymen within the electrical field. Apprentices will be employed and will work while accumulating their class hours. Wage advancement opportunities will occur as class hours and on the job training hours are earned.
Upon completion of 576 class hours and 8,000 work hours over the course of four years, apprentices will take the Arkansas State Electrical Journeyman Exam to become an Arkansas Licensed Journeyman Electrician.

Responsibilities
Check oil levels and communicate with teammates
Inspect tire conditions, inflate, and rotate as necessary
Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
Complete full vehicle inspection
Install new oil filters, and when necessary oil drain plugs.
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Listen attentively to help identify, and confirm customer concerns/needs. Present a resolution to any customer's concern.
Requirements
Valid driver's license free from major infractions
Position requires continual standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the entire shift.

United Trades of America is expanding and actively seeking Arkansas Licensed Journeyman Electricians or Arkansas Licensed Apprentice Electricians to join our traveling crew in Arkansas. If you're a licensed electrician passionate about high-quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork, we want you on our team!
About the Role:
As a Licensed Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician, you will work on a Dollar General remodel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a commercial environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
Bend, cut, thread, and install conduit to precise measurements.
Pull wire and terminate cable.
Install and maintain lighting systems.
Work independently or collaboratively with other electricians and construction teams.
Follow all job-site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Ensure timely completion of tasks without sacrificing quality or safety.
Minimum Requirements:
Active Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Arkansas (required).
Minimum of 2-4 years verifiable commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (required).
Strong skills in conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have personal hand tools and PPE appropriate for electrical work.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be flexible and willing to travel across Arkansas for assignments.
