The Final Inspection Apprentice position is primarily responsible for inspecting and recording dimensions of aerospace components per process sheets, Inspection reports, Blueprints and applicable specifications utilizing specified gages and methods to ensure the quality requirements are met prior to presenting the final aerospace component to the customers. Responsibilities: Review all raw material and processing certifications IAW Customer and PO requirements. Utilize Material Release database to document quality review/activities. Visual and dimensional verification (inspection) to requirements utilizing: micrometers, calipers, bore gages, thread gages, and other inspection equipment as required. Review and acceptance of Travelers to assure all sign-off complete and revision levels are to Operation Book Requirements. Presentation of inspected/received parts to various customer representatives and the resolution to any customer questions or concerns. Initiation of Discrepancy Reports, internal and external for products not meeting drawing requirements. Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Leader. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand or sit for extended period of time. Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement. Frequent twisting and bending. The Apprentice Telecom Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of telecommunication systems and associated process along side a licensed Telecom Technician. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular attendance at assigned location; may include A/Z office or other project site; Will work with sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows blueprints, insuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings and flooring. Assist with installation of cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials Participates in data cable installations, open wiring, with conduit and on cable trays; Assists with installation of relays racks, cabinets, network switches. Assists with Installation of cable trays above and below floors Ability to work in confined spaces. Assists with termination data, voice, coaxial, control and fiber optic cables. Adamah Apprentices support farm production at the Adamah Fellowship in Falls Village, CT. The fellowship is a three-month residential farming program for young adults building Jewish community on the land. Apprentices are paid staff with experience in agriculture who work with the Adamah Farm Director to lead fellows in farm production. The apprenticeship runs from April-November at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center in Falls Village, CT. Compensation includes full-time minimum hourly wage plus free onsite housing and utilities, food from the farm and access to educational opportunities. The Role Our Traveling Fuel Technicians help provide services that are designed to maintain our customers' overall fuel site compliance. Every fuel station runs a dual risk when dispensing their product: unnecessarily giving away fuel to customers, and "shorting" customers fuel-in essence risking fines, penalties and loss of reputation. Our technicians are trained on the job to use tools and technology to accurately read meter calibrations for retail petroleum customers. What You'll Do * Perform precision calibration of meters for retail petroleum clients to ensure accurate measurement and compliance with industry standards. * Minor maintenance on fueling systems. * Assistance with equipment setup and site preparation. * Drive a company-owned vehicle (CDL not required). Key Responsibilities: * Assist Apprentice II and Mechanics with the application of various types of insulation, following instructions and guidance. * Work with a variety of insulation materials, including fiberglass, Foam glass, urethane, silicone, mineral wool, ceramic wool, and rubber insulation products. Install these materials using both hand and power tools. * Maintain and keep your personal toolbox updated. * Handle, distribute, and store materials safely and efficiently. * Review the written Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) before starting work each day. If a JHA is not available, notify the Project Manager immediately and perform your own visual inspection. * Keep the work area clean and dispose of waste materials throughout the day to eliminate potential hazards. * Prioritize job site safety and follow all safety procedures and incident reporting protocols.
