This may include working on both commercial and residential properties. Your specific duties may include: Assisting in the installation of HVAC ductwork, including measuring and cutting materials, assembling components, and sealing joints. Assisting in the repair and maintenance of HVAC ductwork, including identifying and fixing leaks, replacing damaged components, and cleaning and inspecting ducts. Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear to avoid injury or exposure to hazardous materials. Communicating effectively with other members of the installation team, as well as with clients and building owners. Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition, and properly storing and securing them when not in use. Learning about HVAC systems and building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and some basic mechanical knowledge.
