Summary of Job:
This position is responsible for assisting journeyman level construction, installation, alteration and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings and work orders; provide technical guidance and direction to lower level employees.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred,
18-24 months of related experience and/or training is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Experience should be related specifically to assembling hoods and sheet metal air-conditioning and heating units.
Proven working knowledge and experience in ability to read and interpreter blue prints accurately

About this Role
Steps one and two gave the Apprentice the basic skills to use the common tools and techniques associated with powerline work. Step two introduced the Apprentice to energized secondary work to teach them the principles of live work. During step three the Apprentice will begin energized primary work. In addition, the Apprentice will learn how to connect single phase transformers.
Complete set of personal climbing gear MUST be obtained no later than the end of step two Apprenticeship, no exceptions.
While working aloft on or near energized primary circuits the step three Apprentice must be directly supervised by a Lineman or Foreman at the same physical location as the Apprentice (on the pole with, in the bucket with or adjacent to).

Job Description
The Role
We're looking for exceptional Technician apprentices who can deliver world-class customer service. As an Apprentice Technician you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality work, every time. By working closely with the Service Technicians, Service Manager, and field supervisor, you will complete jobs on time, helping achieve the company's financial goals. Your primary goal as an apprentice is to learn the trade and become a Service Technician.
Responsibilities
● Assist lead service technician in all jobs; be efficient and accurate.
● Establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
● Demonstrate you are professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
● Assist in properly staging jobs; adhering to quality checklist.
● Support lead service technician in maintaining a clean, organized job site and accurate truck inventory.
● Participate actively in all on-the-job training and formal exercises to master the trade.
● Complete accurate and timely paperwork.
Requirements
● Driving record with few or no violations.
● Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
