What You Will Be Doing:

* Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills.
* Demonstrated capabilities and success in delivering multiple small-to-large projects concurrently, with thorough understanding of inter-disciplinary design and inter-office coordination.
* Knowledge of construction techniques and an ability to read plans and read, write, and edit specifications.
* Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications:

This is a customer facing role which involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of network and cloud services, optimizing performance, and enhancing security. Duties/Responsibilities:
Design, Implement, and Manage complex network infrastructure and work with cloud solutions.
Implement and manage VPN solutions, manage firewall rules and security policies to ensure secure and reliable remote access and interconnectivity between cloud and on-premises environments
Utilize Area Point Name (APN) to enhance network performance and service quality by integrating application requirements into network operations
Integrate with complex CAD/AVL (Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location) systems, Third-party applications, and APIs to provide real-time vehicle tracking, driver performance metrics, and route adherence details
Work with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
Design and implement secure and high-performance wireless network solutions (Wi-Fi 6/6E, wireless controllers, access points).
Work closely with external customers, project managers, developers, IT, Sales, key stakeholders, and support teams
Perform project requirement analysis, capture, and support solution adaptation.
Participate in technical response to RFPs, RFQs, and other client solicitations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
Apply testing methodologies and quality assurance practices to ensure the reliability and performance of integrated systems
Lead workflow process and configuration sessions with customers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to understand advanced MS Windows, Linux, and applications including remote desktop, command prompt and PowerShell..
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA , CCNP, Azure, AWS, etc.) are preferred but not required.
Experience with cellular communications, Mobile Gateway Routers, and Wi-Fi technologies in public transit environments is preferred but not required.

Shive-Hattery is seeking a visionary Senior-Level Architect with a strong focus on Business Development to join our growing K12 team in our Iowa City office. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals, as follows:
Networking: Building and maintaining a network of clients and other industry contacts.
Developing business strategies: Developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals.
Directing outreach: Directing outreach to potential clients, collaborators, and advocates.
Tracking and coordinating: Tracking and coordinating business development outreach efforts.
Requirements:
Education: Completion of accredited professional degree program with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in architecture, or equivalent in appropriate education and experience.
Experience: Senior level position - applies to individuals with at least 15 years' experience in the practice of architecture, with a focus on the K-12 market.
License/Certification: Registered architect is a requirement
Excellent interpersonal communications skills with the ability to build positive and impactful working relationships within and outside the organization
Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
Responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify new clients and opportunities to pursue utilizing a go-no go process for ideal client and project selection
Win repeat work from existing clients
Work with Market Leader and Client Sponsors to maintain workload and growth
Foster business development skills among group members and encourage community involvement
Seek new business opportunities and monitor client feedback surveys
Support cross-sector business development activities
Participate in RFP/RFQ responses and interviews, either as a direct participant or as a supporting resource.
Leadership:
Coach and mentor junior business development staff, nurturing their growth and development goals
Participate in strategic growth planning
Contribute new ideas and initiatives to drive the success of our markets, business unit and company's objectives, and goals
Track progress of change initiatives and implement continuous improvement measures
