Operations may involve wire cutting, spicing, soldering, crimping, or similar operations. * Strip and stencil all component electrical parts if required. * Required to gather repair parts and identify repair orders. * Required to move materials by hand, hand truck or overhead lifting devices when pertaining to own work to any location in the facility as designated by the supervisor. * Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. * Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities * Must be able to work on assembly blueprints and electrical diagrams. * Must be capable of using all types of hand and power-driven tools. * Must be able to operate a variety of machines such as drill press, hydraulic press, and pedestal grinder. * Required to produce a quality part. * Skilled in interpreting blueprints and schematics. * Skilled in the assembly of machined parts. * Must be able to make minor adjustments to parts on the final assembly operation or test. * Ability to use measuring instruments such as rules, scales, square, tape, volts, and ammeter, etc. * Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
