Primary Function: Operate and maintain vacuum-based tube processing equipment used to manufacture image intensifier tube components. The role is very hands-on, detail-oriented, and physically demanding, working with fragile components in a clean room environment. Job Description Monday-Friday with flexibility to mandatory overtime on Saturdays 2nd shift- 2:30pm- 1am - $20 Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Assemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns). This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine; application of various, specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units; foam-encased pocketed coil units; application of specified upholstery layers; and final mattress assembly. Prepare and organize components for final assembly and restock raw materials at point of use. • Perform duties as outlined in established Job Safety Analysis and National Quality Standards and meet established hourly production goals. • Organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area, follow departmental housekeeping requirements, and leave the work environment and equipment clean at the end of shift. • Perform other duties as designated by a supervisor or manager.
