* Be responsible for the safe operation of its associated equipment and/or processes, the quality of incoming raw materials, the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safe work practices.

You Must Have (Minimum Qualifications):
* Must be 18 years of age
* Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in order to understand/adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), to communicate effectively with others, to complete required documentation both in written and electronic form, and to troubleshoot systems utilizing the English language.

Ensure the production line is supplied with necessary tools, equipment, production orders, material, etc.

Job DescriptionProduction Worker in Take Down/Quality/Packaging - 2nd Shift Premium Powder Coating seeks a consistent and reliable employee who's looking for long term employment. PPC is one of the largest and cleanest powder coating facilities in Colorado. Our location is a 60,000 square facility located in Longmont. PPC has been in business 23 years and is expanding. Employees work 40 hours per week with the opportunity of overtime. Advancement opportunity within the company is available and encouraged for those who are eager to learn new skills.
Day to day responsibilities:
Parts Inspection and Quality Control of powder coated product.
Takedown parts from racks using crane, lift or other methods.
Package parts to customer's specification using foam, cardboard, or other protective product prior to wrapping and strapping pallets
Maintaining hooks and plugs
Attention to detail is key for any applicant. This is a production position you will have the opportunity to move to different departments as you gain experience. Position requires the ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, reach and stoop throughout the day. You must be able to be on your feet for an 8 plus hour shift. Excellent attendance is critical to your success in this position.
Application are being taken for second shifts: Second shift from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Starting pay is based on like experience in coating between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour.

Role Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to meet project specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble modular framing and components
• Assemble and install conduit, insulation, sheet metal, and structural elements
• Join materials using screws, bolts, adhesives, and welding techniques
• Measure, cut, or shape steel, wood, and other construction materials
• Construct framing systems, interior partitions, and support structures
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and trade-specific machinery
• Position and install parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and hoists
• Inspect and document product compliance and report defects
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop area
• Accurately take measurements and calculate material needs
• Perform equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Train new employees and support continuous improvement efforts
• Interpret job orders and execute work instructions
