About the Opportunity: The Assembler is responsible for assembling precision-machined components, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards. This includes using hand and pneumatic tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, to assemble, test, and finish parts. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, performing quality inspections, and maintaining efficient workflow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities:
Assembly Operations: Perform all tasks required to assemble precision components, including layout, fabrication, fitting, and testing of parts. Ensure parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
Quality Control: Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and scales to verify part conformance. Identify and resolve any quality issues during the assembly process.
Tool & Equipment Usage: Utilize hand and pneumatic tools with a high degree of dexterity to assemble, fit, and finish parts. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, blueprints, and specifications to guide the assembly process. Make adjustments to assemblies based on detailed instructions.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve any assembly-related issues. Communicate effectively regarding assembly progress and any concerns that may affect timelines or quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving assembly processes, contributing to efficiency and reducing waste or defects. Suggest improvements to tools, techniques, or workflows to enhance productivity.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating machinery and tools. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and best practices in all aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, with a strong emphasis on aerospace manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly processes. St least two years as a mechanical or manufacturing assembler required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
At least 2 years of hands-on experience demonstrating manual dexterity and proficient use of hand and pneumatic tools.
3+ years of experience operating precision measuring instruments, including but not limited to scales, micrometers, and calipers.
