Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing machinery within the plant. Key duties include machine operation, monitoring the processes, materials, and quality, inspecting equipment, basic troubleshooting, adjusting settings, and record keeping. Hours 11pm-7am ESSENTIAL DUTIES Set-up, operate, and run manufacturing machinery based on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs). Make necessary machine adjustments to optimize performance and meet production specifications. Perform basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to prevent machine downtime. Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products. Operate sealing equipment as needed. Weigh, document, and discard scrap generated from equipment. Input and record data into various operating systems. Maintain production level to standard. Follow all quality guidelines in the performing of job function. Inspect product and identify defects and/or contamination. Train new associates in all aspects of the job when necessary. Collaborate with supervisors and other necessary team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Work in other areas and departments as requested.
