Production 1-A / Auxiliaries are responsible for duties in assigned areas and cross-training for cover in additional departments. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Operator with set-up on production equipment per detailed work instructions. Ensure the proper materials are used as per scheduled guidelines and brand requirements. Inspect packaging of product to ensure quality is maintained within established quality guidelines. Communicate with other employees and supervisors to ensure proper materials are being used. Support and maintain a proper level of materials to ensure adequate supply and maintain production. Ability to learn and retain knowledge regarding various duties and various department guidelines. Effective oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail, pro-activity and effective follow-through. Flexibility to function in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent PREFERRED Previous experience in a manufacturing machine operations role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds Must be visually capable to distinguish differences in color and wording on product and to detect non-tobacco related materials.
