    Summary: Works with other team members to produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies, and/or completes kitting, assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and/or customer specifications. This position is responsible for maintaining the facilities inside and outside. The position will ensue that all trailer bets are unloaded and built properly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned Read, learn, understand and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete assembly of products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete mechanical assembly of components or products, and prepare products and other items for shipment Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards. Maintain the facility by organizing and clean trailer yard, warehouse, building slab, compressor room and any other areas that need attention Operate tractor and forklift to pull, organize, stage boat trailers and unload/load trailers and pallets. Cross Train to other departments as needed All Employees Follow Mission, Vision & Values. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to read and comprehend measuring tools such as a tape measure. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Qualifications: Must be willing to learn and practice continuous improvement techniques such as, but not limited to, 5S and set-up reduction. The ability to participate and lead in a team-oriented environment with the willingness to assist and train others. Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant safety goals in a continuous improvement process. Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
