This role requires hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and inspecting components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, supporting continuous production flow, and assisting team members across different classification levels. * Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to assemble and install parts. * Set up and operate manual and automated assembly equipment and portable machinery. * Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing during or after final assembly. * Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality requirements. * Identify, report, and investigate errors in parts, tools, or assembly procedures. * Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g., changing filters, light bulbs, maintaining coolant levels). * Assist in training, coaching, and supporting other team members. * Document and report discrepancies according to company procedures. * Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified. * Support continuous product flow by efficiently moving parts and assemblies. * Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift and work overtime/weekends as needed. What you'll bring High school diploma or GED 3+ years manufacturing experience with large scale assembly of mechanical and/or electrical components with some exposure to optical and/or laser alignments OR certified technical program with 1+ years experience. Skilled in blueprint reading, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments referenced above Must pass an assembler assessment, background check, and rug screening. Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., wear necessary PPE , climb and work at height, and stand for periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work 2nd shift (3 PM -11 PM). The anticipated start for this position is January 2026. Pay Rate: The pay for this position is $31.663 - $32.919.
