While reporting to the production shift supervisor, you will be responsible for working on the production line and ensuring the production of a quality product in a safe working environment. What you will be doing:

We are looking for a full-time Bakery Worker who has experience and passion in the culinary arts. The job will include production preparation for a variety of sweet and savory items. 1 day per week is devoted to baking large batches of CheeseCake, other items we create include a variety of savory items like; chicken pot pies, soups, chili, and quiche all sold exclusively in our storefront market.
The perfect candidate for this job, should enjoy the fast pace and adapt to our schedule as we switch from preparing and packaging desserts to savory dishes. This person will learn how to use our equipment, break it down, clean, sanitize and reassemble it. Preference given to individuals who have Serve-Safe certification. As we get into the fall and leading up to the holidays, we get busier and demand for our desserts and savory items will increase.
Thanksgiving is an especially busy time for us, in addition to producing our sweet and savory products we will be building inventory to meet the increased demands for our CheeseCake and savory meals.
We also prepare a complete take home Thanksgiving dinner which includes a hot turkey. We do work on Thanksgiving Day until 2 PM. Each employee gets one of these dinners to take home and share with their family.

* Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions
* Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
* Complete assembly tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); Responsibilities may also include specialized work such as tube bending and soldering
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Stay updated on changes in assembly processes and product specifications.
* Test and troubleshoot assemblies
* Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly
* Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED), required
* 1+ years of experience with assembly or other fast paced operations
Key Competencies:
* Ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written
* Ability to problem solve
* Ability to perform varied and complex tasks
* Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift
Preferences:
* Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses
* General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook)
* Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
This position will be based at our site in Ivyland, PA no travel.
