Performs setups and adjustments of machinery for assembling metal chain parts
Interprets job specifications and reads blueprints.
Inspects products to verify conformance utilizing various measuring devices.
Assembles parts to product specifications per print.
Maintains record keeping for jobs and inventory.
Coordinates with others to achieve maximum throughput and meet department and company goals.
Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety regulations.
Operates material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, cranes and hoists.
Uses good judgment and works in a safe responsible manner. Other tasks/functions as assigned.
General knowledge and ability to safely use hand tools.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
1 - 2 years manufacturing related experience.

Removes masking paper and tape from painted window and door after quality approved.
Cleans paint and glue from glass and inserts bulb seal if present.
Inserts screen into frame if present and inserts weep hole covers if required.
Assembles window and door with all parts removed during disassemble.
Packages units based on customer requirements.
Scans and adheres label on window if required.
Stages on carts for shipping per customer
Applies Banding/strapping as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned. Follow all safety guidelines and maintains clean workspace. Maintains productive pace set by Floor Lead and/or Manager and follows managers' direction.

Align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears.
Mounts and connects auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment. Cuts and fits pipes and tubing.

Solid mechanical skills. Must have mechanical ability to proficiently use cranes and other heavy tools and equipment that are normally required in daily assembly and disassembly operations.
Must own tools of the trade, and be able to use them effectively.
Ability to use judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the sequence of operations and processes within the limitations of established or standard methods and procedures.
Must be able to interpret prints well enough to determine appropriate disassembly sequence for a variety of heavy equipment.
Ability to read, interpret a variety of assembly prints, and understand verbal and written instructions.
Capable of using small machine tools, drill presses, welders, cranes, and forklifts.

Responsibilities:
Minimum 3 yrs. experience with assembly of heavy industrial equipment
Ability to work from blueprints to assemble and disassemble mechanical components
Ability to perform inspection of components using micrometers and other instruments
Electrical exp. a plus
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
